Heavy Rains Overwhelm Sabraton

Heavy rains earlier tonight entirely overwhelmed Sabraton. All of the stopgaps at the bottom of Hartman Run Road clogged, pushing cascading water up over the banks, covering the roads, flooding out the car dealership, the strip mall where Rio Grande and Pizza Al’s II are, and swamping 84 Lumber. Very stunning scene that developed very quickly.

Smitty’s: Sabraton. I love how they spell sandwich. I think we should all adopt sammich into our vocabularies.

I’ve noticed new piping in the parking lot at the Dominion Post, presumably as part of a project to keep Hartman Run flowing better during torrential downpours. Which would be good given what happens when Hartman Run is overflowing.
